Today Springer, our 17 year old grandson and I had a Grammy Day. We boarded my Mini Cooper, Piccolo and he chose a trip to the High Museum. What a great idea! We had the best time, taking our time and leisurely looking at beautiful masterpieces ( European and American), paintings, sculptures, crystal, jewelry and furniture. Other exhibits we enjoyed included, the History of Segregation, The History of Coke and it’s branding, Rev. Howard Finster’s folk art, Mo Willems, Seriously Silly and even the Los Trompos (spinning tops) the interactive setting on the Sifly Piazza!

After our museum adventure, we landed at Gladys Knights Fried Chicken and Waffles for a late lunch. Springer had fried chicken and a chocolate chip waffle. I had baked chicken, squash and green beans. We gabbed all the way home and really enjoyed ourselves, or at least Grammy did.wink emoticon Being with my Springer made my day! He is such a delight to every member of this family, an incredible perpetual blessing and we’re so happy he belongs to us! I love you, gigantic, Springer. Thank you for sharing your day with me! What a great, big God! Happy Grammy!
