What a whirlwind weekend! Mommie was properly and deservingly celebrated, and then Jim and I headed back to the ATL. Loved surprising her and thanks to all who came to honor her in such a special way! At times, she was completely overwhelmed, and tears of joy flowed all day.
I called her on our way home and she said, “This was the largest birthday celebration I have ever had!.” ( there was a slight pause as she continued) “But, I guess, I’ve never been this old!” wink emoticon
Her actual birthdate is June 23rd and on that day I will be posting highlights of her special day of celebration! I am so proud to be her daughter! Big hugs, D
