Today, what a treat it was to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation! It was the perfect spring day here in the city. We took a ride up to the lake and just drank it all in- the blue sky, the sunshine, the water and all the while sitting next to my sweet husband who had the radio set on the 60’s channel. No TV, no laptop, no cell phones, no noise, no distractions- just the simple things. We talked, we held hands, we laughed, we stood in awe of the Master Creator and His magnificent workmanship. On the way home I admired a big yellow moon and the black velvet sky sprayed with brilliantly shining stars, that the Bible says God calls all by name. Oh, Lord, what a wonder you are. My heart is full. I am grateful. What a great big God!
